Mission Statement:
Improve the spiritual and  physical well-being of a community with  programs and services
in faith-based economic development.


Ohio City Power was founded in 2010 by Lisa Braun, Executive Director. Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in Business from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Lisa worked in a Cleveland law firm for fourteen years and owned her own business for six years. She worked for the Solon Police Department and is now a Deputy Clerk at Bedford Municipal Court.

Lisa excels in organizing and coordinating projects. Her past entrepreneurial experience qualifies her for managing money and people and her compassion for people is an asset. Lisa Braun's exercise history and current life-style qualifies her to encourage people to better themselves.

Ohio City Power is based at St. Paul's Community & Outreach Church, 4427 Franklin Blvd. in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ohio City Power helps children and honors Veterans who became Police Officers.

Products and services include mailing assembly, candy-making, fly fishing fly tying, laundry service, fashion scarves, and job mentoring services.

Ohio City Power is supported by grant programs, foundation support, faith-based organizational contributions and member engagement. Ohio City Power provides recreation, skills training and mentoring, employment opportunities, and connects  community members to
workforce development programs.

Goals

Ohio City Power projects are designed to address neighborhood issues. Projects are led by community members of Ohio City. Friends of St. Paul's often visit other food kitchens or centers in the city, spreading the good work of Ohio City Power.

Ohio City Power encourages new and stronger relationships between residents of the community, among and between grassroots groups and more established organizations. Program leaders constantly communicate with local organizations to encourage residents and visitors to engage in St. Paul's Outreach services. Men and women of all nationalities and religions are invited and discrimination is not tolerated.

Ohio City Power supports opportunities to develop community leadership, organizational capacity, and community capacity. Ohio City Power is always on the look out for new leaders to join the network. Leadership is encouraged from within by identifying and strengthening emerging programs and services.
